A clinical trial showed 71 percent of participants improved blood sugar control with fewer medications using the Twin program. The app analyzes data from glucose monitors, blood pressure cuffs, and more to offer real-time advice and coaching.
Finally, the European Parliament has blocked AI tools on lawmakers’ devices over security and privacy concerns. TechCrunch reports the parliament’s IT department cited risks around uploading confidential data to AI servers. There’s worry that data shared with AI companies could be accessed by U.S. authorities or inadvertently exposed to others. This move reflects broader tensions between European data protection rules and U.S. tech companies’ practices. It’s a reminder that AI adoption still faces significant legal and regulatory hurdles.
